The mass demonetization of the first amendment auditing community brought an end to the quest of Jonathan “Frauditor Troll” Hudon-Huneault, who posted a goodbye to his fans as shut down his widely popular Frauditor Troll channel this week.
Fans noticed shortly after the mass demonetizations of their favorite 1A channels that Hudon-Huneault’s channel had been stripped of all content and was no longer offering channel memberships.
While original speculation by many that Hudon-Huneault’s channel had been that he had somehow caught up in the demonetization sweep, others speculated that his time in the content category was done now that the majority of the auditors he had featured on his channel were leaving YouTube.
Hudon-Huneault confirmed that it was his choice in his goodbye statement:
We made the decision to close the channel and turn off memberships as we are stepping away from the anti frauditor genre.
We don’t want you guys to keep paying for a membership as we will no longer post on this channel.
At this point the mission is completed. The frauditors have been demonetized and are now scattering like ants to rumble.
Staying true to form, he then mocked those who thought that they could find new fortunes on platforms outside of YouTube:
Rumble is where social media careers go to die and our prediction was true. As soon as the money stopped coming in most frauditors told their viewers that they are quitting.
I personally think that the anti frauditor community did a fantastic job bringing awareness about this plague for the last couple years and I think that we as a community did make a significant impact that led to the great demonetization. It was a great honor to be part of this movement and I do believe you guys are in good hands although I don’t think anti frauditors will be needed for very long as the frauditors will fade into obscurity. No money = no fraudits.
Fans who are concerned about Hudon-Huneault should note that while he is ending his involvement in the first amendment auditing community, he is not leaving YouTube as his Josh Prime channel is still growing at a staggering pace. That channel also recently posted a job listing to grow its team.
Those same fans have also noted that Hudon-Huneault had largely been moving away from the subject in favor of his Josh Prime channel last year after being sidelined by a prolonged copyright legal battle with Christopher “Denver Metro Audits” Cordova.
For the past four years, Hudon-Huneault along with Dave “Dr. Dave” Coulter have been the “gateway drugs” that gets most people involved in the anti-first amendment auditing community. With Hudon-Huneault quitting and Coulter embroiled in a never-ending legal dispute with Shade George “Audit Them” Ghanayem, it’s unclear who will step up to lure new viewers into the community on YouTube.
Again, that is if the overall first amendment community survives the demonetization.
Hudon-Huneault ended his statement to his fans with a warning about imposter channels and a goodbye:
We are done posting on this channel but we have never been more active on youtube.
If you see any other accounts with the name frauditor troll in it, its not us its an impersonator.
We are focusing on our bodycam channels as well as our new channels in the cooking, gaming and music genre.
If you are interested in any of those its just a matter of time before one of our videos end up on your recommended page.
Thank you for all your support over the years!
