YouTuber, sometime advocate for the homeless and free-range grandmother Regan Benson returned to her community page this week to express her thoughts on a recent encounter with a Denver police officer who she claims she opted out of reporting due to fear of retaliation.
She posted her account along with a photo of the officer involved in the incident.
Benson wrote:

You know how it goes: if you want to get revenge and get someone unalived in Denver, you just call 9-1-1 and say anything you want.
DPD confirmed they’re in full support of this. They don’t investigate false reporting for the reasons I assume to be:
- It gives them the excuse to violate anyone’s rights up to and including open firing on anyone
- The more the public lies, the more they feel needed and can justify always being understaffed
- More money for their Us v. them messaging campaigns
On that note, I got a call today from my friend and due to his circumstances, I won’t be publishing any video about it.
You see, it turns out Denver PD gets weaponized in situations they enjoy being weaponized in. You want to make things worse? Get an undeserving person locked up? Get a homeless man in a REAL mental health crisis shot in the face with a rifle round? Get an innocent man in a case of self defense loaded with cop lead?
Call DPD.
They won’t disappoint.
Things were going to go way differently today had I not been there to always record the police!
Imagine if you will, a newbie Denver cop getting dumb with me, threatening to arrest me and then whining about me being a “mean person”. It’s like Déjà vu for the 1500th time. They’re arrogant ego driven false confidence gets outmatched by a woman with a brain and a mouth, so they start threatening arrest and write bogus warrants for me. They may (they do) even go as far as to claim their lives and families lives are being threatened by me and others on YouTube, that follow me.
In years past, I’d typically file a complaint for something like this in hopes they’d correct the newbie. Those days are long gone. It’s full on ignore my complaints and retaliate by lying in an attempt to lock me in a cage.
So it’s full on with OUR NEED TO KNOW there’s another Denver cop tyrant on the loose. So here ya go…
This dip%#*t told me I had to “stay back” and drew an imaginary line and told me if I crossed it, he was going to arrest me. Why’d he do that?
More importantly, why didn’t he arrest me when I crossed his imaginary line?
Because they trained him to say dumb things that work on 99.9% of the population when a cop barks unlawful orders. Because they trained him to be paranoid. Because they trained him to remain a weak link of an order follower. Biggest problem with these weak links: he’s going to figure out that he will IN FACT get away with violence on peaceful people recording his actions, and will be fully supported in his unlawful retaliatory arrests.
By the time I was done with this newbie, I thought he was going to cry. Good. He deserved every bit of the embarrassment.
Rest assured his buddies are helping him plan and orchestrate revenge on me as a you’re reading this.

He told me to “stay back”. When he attempted to hand me his card, I DEMANDED he “stay back” and away from me, for my safety. I ordered him to put his card on the ground.
He did.

Benson is one of the few first amendment auditors who survived the monetization purge by YouTube unscathed. While she has yet to live stream since the purge, her comments appear to reaffirm that she will be remaining on the YouTube platform.
She is expected to go live again later this week.
