Regan Benson announced a new goal this week as she livestreamed on Tuesday from outside the Englewood Civic Center where she was planning to make public comment at the Englewood Water and Sewer Board Meeting in defense of the preservation of her chalk art during the on-going drought that has hit Colorado.
The Water and Sewer Board was set to discuss a resolution that would impose mandatory water use restrictions within the City of Englewood. Benson said she was going to speak in favor of the passage of said restrictions as she filed a complaint with the city of Englewood over the use water from a fire truck to clean up the chalk art she left in front of the Englewood police department the night before.
Benson has been expressing her grievances with the various public entities through the use of chalk art since the summer of 2025. While the art often uses obscenities and images of erotica in her expression, sometimes accompanied by Benson demonstrating sexual positions to embarrass friend Luis “The Real Constitutional Upholders” Johnson, there is nothing illegal about her graffiti style art as it’s in a format that can be easily wiped away.
The free-range grandmother was arrested after doxing Commander Joel Bell of the Denver police force on one such livestreamed chalking session. While she wrote phrases alluding to a “pig roast” at Bell’s house, she revealed his home address during the stream. She would later be found guilty of doxing the commander, which she is currently appealing.
Benson’s current take on her chalk art is that it is protected speech under the first amendment and that no one has the authority to alter it without violating her rights. She further has concerns over excessive water use to clean up her work as Colorado is in a state-wide drought.
Alas, Benson’s plan to address the board during the public hearing was foiled as the first ten minutes of the hearing was devoted to public speaking with each speaker having 3 minutes to speak. There were five people ahead of her on the list and three speaking virtually and upon realizing that there would be no time for her to speak, Benson stormed out of the meeting.
She screamed “Evilwood” and “scamjob” as she left the building before running into several homeless men she had previous encounters with in the course of her duties as a sometime homeless advocate.
From the Civic Center, Benson traveled to the Englewood Police Station. She bragged that she had returned to the Police Station the night before to redraw her chalk redress of her government. She said she went so far as to write Luis Johnson’s name on the windows of the building in chalk, which again, she claimed was constitutionally protected activity.
Upon reaching the front of the building, she found her work had been smeared by what appeared to be a janitor’s mop. All of the chalk was removed from the windows and Benson again raged at both the fact that her expression in chalk was covered up and that water was used by the city in a state-wide drought.
Benson would bring up the police station’s janitor in snide comments, mocking the man and stating that he was afraid to face her and Johnson the night before.
Turning her attention to Major Michael Ryan of the Colorado State Patrol, Benson said she had a long but ineffective talk with the Major over the state patrol’s repeated use of motor vehicles in Denver’s Veterans Park.
In a final bit of Benson news, the soon to be ex-Patriot of Colorado announced an update to the hit and run accident she suffered last year in her then new SUV. She stated that the driver, who is allegedly in the country illegally, is making payments to Benson’s insurance company and Benson will eventually recoup her co-pay from the accident.
Benson ended the livestream by announcing she was going home to take a nap with a promise to return to the Englewood Police Department later in the evening to produce more of her chalk art.
That promise, if kept, was not done on a livestream as the YouTube sensation has been quiet since Tuesday night.
