Jose “Chille” DeCastro received some good news on Wednesday as prosecutors in Las Vegas declined to prosecute his Obstructing/False Info to P.O. (Criminal-10.02.010) charge he picked up on July 3, 2026, while being arrested in Las Vegas and his protégé, Heather Chandler had her felony DUI charges dismissed and refiled as misdemeanor charges.
DeCastro was recording near Fremont Street on July 3 when he was arrested for walking in the street when a sidewalk was available. His arrest came after he refused to get out of the street when he was filming police arrest another man and a police officer gave him a direct order to do so.
The second charge came, according to DeCatro, when he was being booked. He says he refused to give his social security number to the police during the booking process and was then charged with obstruction.
His next court date is August 4, 2026, for the walking in the street charges.
After the arrest, DeCastro started a new GoFundMe account in order to purchase the services of Josh Tomsheck of the firm Holland & Tomsheck. Tomsheck previously took a flat fee from DeCastro and was able to get him off of various charges related to his 2024 Valentine’s Day arrest in Las Vegas.
Besides crowdsourcing, DeCastro has used the need to propel sales of his products. DeCastro recently reprinted his “indestructible” trifold product, after months of abandoning it in favor of his more expensive auto plaque product.
DeCastro has been going live every night at 2AM Eastern with the fire sales, giving away as much of his product as he sells, with the announced intention of putting his earnings towards his high-priced attorney.
The diminutive YouTuber is currently livestreaming as of press time and has not mentioned a reduction in his charges. We will update with a new report should DeCastro make mention of the changes.
DeCastro’s windfall did not carry over to his GoFundMe campaigns. Despite doing a six hour livestream Wednesday morning, DeCastro pulled in no new donations to any of the open campaigns he’s associated with.
Christopher “Direct D” Ruff’s accuser, Heather Russell, took the day with her initial appearance on the list as she’s seeking $4,000.00 to her Help Heather and her son start over safely fund.
That fund has taken in $645.00 towards its goal, which is being reported in one lump sum for the day as she made rounds on YouTube livestreams.
SeanPaul “Long Island Audit” Reyes placed second with $35.00 in new donations to his We the People vs. Police Union Power fund and Roy Tripoloni’s fund for James “James Freeman” Springer took in $25.00 to round out donations for the day.
No other campaigns that we cover had new donations for the day.
DeCastro’s quasi-protégé, Heather Chandler, an Oklahoma woman that DeCastro says he was helping when he picked up charges of molesting police vehicles in Duncan, Oklahoma, last year, received good news of her own this week.
Chandler was initially facing felony charges of driving a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and driving without a valid driver’s license.
The driving without a valid driver’s license had been previously dropped as it turned out that Chandler’s license was valid but listed incorrectly as being suspended at the time of the arrest.
The prosecution in that case recently asked for a dismissal with the intent to refile, which was granted last week. She is now facing a single misdemeanor charge of driving while impaired.
Her next court date is September 22, 2026.
