Convicted felon Lane Myers did the second in his planned series of pre-recorded jailhouse interviews on Saturday, this time with Zachary “Liberty Troll” Kueker, in which he continue to degrade his victim, the judge in the case and the accusations against him; following the interview Myers released a statement directed at the prosecutor that she will be committing prosecutorial misconduct if she put the victim’s husband on the stand at a future hearing.
Kueker’s production started with him identifying Myers as a journalist for Freedom Productions, LLC, who is being held on an “apparent probation violation.” Kueker stated that Myers, in his opinion, was a political prisoner and that his victim was a professional victim, who was playing a role in order to keep Myers in jail.
The interview itself started with ground rules, where Kueker asked Myers not to directly say the victim or her husband’s names and not to swear profusely. Myers agreed to the terms nothing that he did not want to cost Kueker his YouTube monetization.
Myers started the interview by complaining about his recent obsession over a notice that a viewer got when they went to purchase an audio recording of Thursday’s media hearing in Myers’ case. That person was told by the stenographer that an audio recording would not be made available as the stenographer was in court that day.
The jailed Myers went on an extended rant, stating that he had warned the “biased prejudicial tyrant” Judge D. Douglas Metcalf that the presence of the stenographer meant that the audio would not be available. He said that Metcalf promised that the audio would be made available and that he was upset with the note from the stenographer.
Myers told his fans that they needed to call or write the judge and demand that he turn over the audio from Thursday’s hearing in order to have it released immediately.
He also stated that he and his attorney had received no evidence from prosecutor Rachel Stiles to prove the allegations against him. The bicycle enthusiast went on to claim that the prosecution was purposely withholding evidence to the point that his attorney was forced to file a motion to dismiss the case.
Kueker then took Myers through the series of events leading up to his current imprisonment. Myers said that he was on no reporting probation and hadn’t seen his probation officer in several months.
The probation officer arrived at his house unannounced on June 21 for an inspection and went to Myers’ computer room. According to Myers, the probation officer agreed that Myers was doing a great job abiding by his probation and was very complimentary.
Myers then informed the probation officer that he was filing to change the conditions of his probation and that he was suing the probation department in federal court because the terms and conditions of his probation were unconstitutional.
According to Myers’ account, his filing of the probation modification motion set off a chain of events that resulted in probation summoning him to their office unexpectedly. He was physically accosted by several probation officers while being taken into custody and when he was asked what he had done, the probation officer said he would “figure that out later.”
The convicted felon went on to accuse the victim’s husband of being his actual probation officer. He said he was looking forward to his “trial” on August 10 (his August hearing is scheduled for August 11). He said that if the victim’s husband were to testify, he would commit perjury and that Myers would file prosecutorial misconduct charges against Stiles.
Myers would go on to ask Kueker for a second interview where he would get into the current charges against him and his plan to disqualify the presence of the victim’s husband as a conflict of interest. Kueker agreed to a Tuesday interview.
The over the top Myers has claimed that he was going to do as many media interviews as possible to bring interest in his case. He again stated that there was tremendous interest in his case and that multiple sites were sharing his videos and donating to his GiveSendGo campaign.
Alas, while the first of his interviews brought in hundreds of dollars to his GiveSendGo account, that account has fallen silent since that interview with no new donations since Thursday.
Jose “Chille” DeCastro won Sunday’s take with $35.00 in new donations to his Help Me Defend My Constitutional Rights fund. SeanPaul “Long Island Audits” took second place with a $5.00 donation to his Support The Fight Against Tyranny & Corruption fund.
No other campaigns that we follow saw donations for the day.
Shortly after Kueker’s interview aired, Myers released a statement through YouTuber Illuminate the Dark, who Myers previously had claimed no longer had access to him at the Pima County Adult Detention Center.
Myers directly addressed prosecutor Rachel Stiles in the one-minute message, repeating most of his comments and allegations from the interview with Kueker.
Hi Rachel, I just want to let you know that if you take this to these allegations that your buddy over at the other place across town, the victim’s husband who’s pretending to be my probation officer, if you actually put this idiot on the stand you’re committing career suicide because you obviously Rachel, you obviously haven’t watched these videos. Rachel, you obviously haven’t done any investigating yourself. You’re just taking the word of your little buddy and I promise you your little buddy is going to make you look really stupid and he’s going to cause you to commit prosecutorial misconduct when you put another prosecutor on the stand and he gets impeached. Because your little buddy is going to have to commit perjury or you’re going to have to admit you filed false allegations. So I look forward to that day. See you Tuesday, Rachel.
Myers is due in court on Tuesday for oral arguments to change the conditions of his probation.
