Jose “Chille” DeCastro’s latest lawsuit against the Las Vegas Metro Police Department was released to the world on Monday and contrary to DeCastro’s apparent ideas that it would be a revolutionary step in his war against the prison system, it came off as a series of minor complaints about being in jail with one big red flag at the heart of the lawsuit that may be impossible to prove.
DeCastro has spent two years since being released from incarceration offering excuses for his own behaviors while in jail. The biggest of which came with his repeated story that he was crying on video at a hearing because “they killed someone in front of me” right before he came out for his hearing.
The lawsuit does nothing to prove that allegation, and contains other general complaints about life in the facility, including:
- While on a livestream to another “journalist” from jail, he was accosted by jail guards who threw him in “the hole” for violating the jail’s policies. No warning was given, he went directly to the hole.
- While in the hole he didn’t receive books, pencils, pens or even a bible.
- While in the hole a tray was slid under the door with his food.
- At the disciplinary hearing a guard was visible with a “thin blue line” flag behind her.
- He was strip searched and threatened during the search.
- He was locked in his cell for 23 hours per day while in the hole.
- He didn’t get a cell mate while in the hole.
- He didn’t get his high blood pressure medications.
- Defendant “Reitholt” confined him to bed for 24 hours as a punishment for breaking rules. When he complained, it was doubled to 48 hours.
- He wasn’t provided with a mirror to shave with. He suffered cuts and gouges using a steel plate as a mirror.
- When he was booked in jail he had to sit in a crowded room for more than 24 hours and could not lie down.
- He was held for 24 hours after his convictions were overturned on appeal. The appeals court judge had to write a written order to have him released from jail.
- While in segregation he watched through a slot in his door as guards murdered a man in the final week of March 2024. An officer “Palmer” told DeCastro that the man had died of “excited delirium.
DeCastro claims to have suffered severe PTSD during his stay in the Clark County, Nevada, Detention Center, and suffered nightmares as a result of it. He has claimed that he cured himself through “a good workout” in November of 2024.
He has also claimed repeatedly that he had cured his high blood pressure and had stopped taking the medication before going to jail.
There are no published reports of deaths at the Clark County Detention Center during the time he claims the murder happened. DeCastro is seeking records form the facility and has promised to provide further details and defendants during the discovery process.
The inventor of the Jock Sock is seeking compensatory damages, punitive damages, nominal damages and attorney fees and court costs. He has filed as a pro se litigant.
DeCastro was absent from livestreaming on Monday, which had a direct result on his GoFundMe campaign for Tuesday’s take, which pulled in a mere $100.00 to up its total to $6,245.00. No other campaigns that we follow saw donations for the day.
The diminutive YouTuber spent the day on social media, posting insults about the deceased senator Lindsey Graham and finding new and offensive ways to take shots at Isreal and the Jewish people. His latest insult for the country itself referring to urination.
