SeanPaul Reyes Gives EXCUSES for Low Turnout at Suffolk County Anti-Police Protest

SeanPaul “Long Island Audit” Reyes offered excuses ranging from his fans “didn’t want to be retaliated against by police” to the extreme heat wave keeping people from leaving their houses to explain his low turnout numbers to his great American protest outside of the Suffolk Police Benevolent Association in Suffolk County, New York, on Wednesday.

Reyes went live on Wednesday afternoon during the scorching heat wave that was broiling most of the East Coast with the intention of showing the Police Benevolent Association the power of his fans in the New York Area following his arrest last week on third degree trespassing charges at the same facility.

Everything seemed to be in place for a huge turnout: the police had put up barricades to protect the protesters from on-coming traffic as they protested in a shady patch of trees near a highway, his billboard truck was driving in a loop to pass the area every few minutes with his propaganda protesting the police in full force, Reyes and his associates had professionally printed up protest signs displaying PBA President Lou Civello as a mob boss or union thug, he even had a microphone to address the expected large crowd…

His problem, of course, was that his crowd never materialized, as he started his livestream with roughly thirty people at the gathering which quickly turned into around 15 people at the end of the hour-long stream.

Reyes initially was jubilant at the turnout he was prepared to display at the event, which seemed to carry on the tradition of mid-June “outrage” streams where Reyes would be spontaneously arrested, despite at least one previous event having GoFundMe campaigns prepared and livestream titles reflecting his arrest before it happened, then raise money off that arrest and the subsequent outrage for the rest of the summer.

Last week’s arrest was reflective of past events, this time portraying Reyes as a law-abiding citizen who was outrageously trespassed by the evil mean and nasty police union after they objected to his god given right to park his $170,000.00 electronic billboard truck near their property. He was there to verbally redress his government like any other common man with an estimated worth in the millions.

Reyes even declared that he should run for county executive and gain the power to fight the “thugs” in the Police Union in their own system. He was then largely ignored by his own crowd, who seemed to take the role of background extras, preferring to quietly talk to themselves rather than engage with the “main character” of Reyes.

With the crowd already starting to thin out in the first minutes of the live, Reyes let out a roar of protest in support of his own efforts as his billboard truck drove by… only to have a few of his puzzled supporters look back at him, none of whom joining in him in support of the truck, which returned three minutes later for its next pass through the area.

Reyes would make a bold statement about the fact that police didn’t need unions and that unions, if necessary, were only to support corporations. He then gave a half hearted speech, followed by Leonard “Leroy Truth” Filipowski, who ignored Reyes and his efforts to focus on his own plight in Union City, New Jersey, and then by David “The Exposure Report” Snow, who tried to encourage the now almost vanished crowd to continue the protest.

The excuses offered by Reyes for the low turnout have been numerous, from the high heat, to the protest being held during “lunch hour” and that there were more people there earlier when the camera was off but they went back to work, and, of course, “the people” staying home because they were afraid of retaliation by the evil, mean and nasty police union.

There was no police presence on camera during the event, other than a few parked police vehicles. Reyes claimed that cameras had been set up by police in order to record protesters faces for possible retaliation in the future but no such intimidation or retaliation was on hand as his followers stood around, refused to make eye contact, then dispersed rapidly as his livestream progressed.

All things were no so bad for Reyes as he won Friday’s crowd sourcing title, taking in $195.00 in new donations from his rabid fans. While is $7,253.00 total for the campaign is down from last year’s campaign that pulled in over $20,000.00 in roughly the same period, Reyes was alone in earning donations for the day as no other campaigns that we follow saw donations for the day.

This is a continuing news story.
