Tuesday was a normal day in the life of Lane Myers, apparently having nothing else to do, he spent the day in front of roughly 144 of his closest fans in a nearly 10 hour livestream, continuing what seems to be his pattern of threatening and doxing his critics.
The livestream began with a few call backs to old targets, telling his viewers that he had FOIA requested any all communication about his 2025 conviction for felony stalking. He added a vague idea that he would expose his tormenters, who were all openly plotting against him on the ReallyCoolNewsWire Discord server.
He also announced that he would be filing two lawsuits against “the government” on Tuesday; indicating that he would be spending roughly $600.00 on both suits. Myers seemed excited by his news, indicating that he was born to fight and once he grabbed on to someone he was like a saltwater crocodile, pulling his prey under water.
Myers went on to contact the office of his state senator, Vince Leach, getting through to an aid who told Myers that the senate was in recess and that Leach had retired. Myers asked the man if he knew who he was and was surprised when the man said he vaguely remembered Mr. Myers. Myers swore at the man multiple times, describing himself as a “free speech absolutist.” He complained that his mother had contacted Leach’s office last year during his trial and that Leach apparently declined to help him, despite the fact that they both wore “red hats.”
The YouTuber, Lane Myers activist and self-proclaimed “attorney” would go on to explain that he was “famous” and had previously been up for the seat to replace Leach but his felony conviction prevented him from running for office.
He told the man his story for over an hour, screaming at times, claiming his “emotional support dog” jumped on him to calm him down at one point. He blamed everyone for his predicament, corrupt police, conspiring witnesses; his victim was now a plant who was willing to take part in a conspiracy to put him in jail.
Myers continued, stating that he missed a family trip with his “then wife” (later referred to as his girlfriend) because of his trial. He claimed that the Judge who oversaw his case was no longer a Judge, despite being listed on the Pima County Superior Court’s website, and he let the aid know that he was now suing the government over his conviction.
The aid listened patiently as Myers went on, eventually getting Myers off the phone by asking Myers to e-mail him anything he’d like to share and ending the call after Myers thanked him for not hanging up and calling the police on him.
Myers then turned his attention to me, Jim Finch, owner and operator of ReallyCoolNews. He issued an ultimatum: call him right now or else he would release my information to the world and send his reporters to my house to “ask questions.”
It was a calculated move, with deliberate phrasing and the use of “publicly available information” as that seemed to be Myers’ point. He knew that he was unlikely to face repercussions for his actions and that police would not act.
He posted my home address, my reallycoolsite.org e-mail address, an old telephone number that he promptly called and found not to be in service, photos of my home from Zillow and asked his “reporters” to come to my house to ask me questions.
In viewing my property, he noticed a bicycle and stated that it was unfair that he had to sell his bicycles to fund his on-going legal actions and it was time for me to sell my things to defend against his actions.
A phone call was placed to local police to document the event and to prepare in case the “reporters” came. “No Trespassing” signs went up on the property and Myers received notice on our evening chat that “reporters” were not welcome at the house, and the police would be summoned should they bypass the posted signs.
Myers would return to this publication later in the nine-hour-plus livestream, stating that he intended to sue for defamation in federal court after being triggered by our description of his recent reply to his motion to modify probation conditions as “half hearted.”
He has since removed his livestream from public view.
The point was made, however, in my opinion: report on Lane Myers and face the wrath of Lane Myers. As he stated on his stream, he is a threat who won’t stop until he eliminates his prey. We should fear his mighty power, his unrepressed manliness and his great fame.
That said… we will continue to report on “free speech absolutist” Lane Myers. We will continue to endure his “wrath” and be the subject of his bully campaign. It will be noted that Myers has been apparently afraid of the reporting we’re doing, for whatever reason, and is directing his angst at us.
Mr. Myers was rewarded $100.00 with a donation to his GiveSendGo account and won the crowdsourcing title for the day. He was followed by SeanPaul “Long Island Audit” Reyes, who pulled in $80.00 in new donations to his We the People vs. Police Union Power campaign. Jose “Chille” DeCastro received a rare $20.00 to his Help Me Finish YouveGotBail and Protect the Technology campaign.
Should Myers file his lawsuit, we will be prepared to defend ourselves against his actions and the appropriate measures will be put in place to protect ourselves and our loved ones from “reporters” arriving on the property to “ask questions.”
If you’d like to contribute to our on-going expenses campaign, our GoFundMe is listed in the description of the video. A separate GoFundMe will be created for direct legal expenses when and if he files his lawsuit.
