Friday was a disastrous day for Jose “Chille” DeCastro as his Help Me Finish YouveGotBail and Protect the Technology fund received no new donations, the YouTube influencer went silent and there have been no updates from his camp or those related to his camp about the status of the project.
DeCastro famously went live a week ago with the announcement of the GoFundMe, making it clear that the funds would go towards “securing the technology” by paying $12,000.00 to a patent attorney. The rest of the funds would (presumably) be used for start up costs of the then national social media platform that would bail users out of jail within one hour of arrest.
By the end of last weekend the $25,000.00 was now paying for the patent attorney AND $3,500.00 he needed to pay for transcripts in his on-going appeal of his court loss to the Las Vegas Metro Police Department last February.
The same campaign also may or may not be paying off other court costs including the service of about a dozen police officers, court officials and judges that he is suing in various lawsuits he has filed across the country.
On Monday he had made it clear that by giving him money in the GoFundMe, no one was going to see a return on their money. While he had the possibility of earning millions if he won the lawsuits, the only way someone would see a return on their investment would be to directly invest either $5,000.00 or $10,000.00 in his company (depending on the day) and not through the GoFundMe.
The early part of the week also saw DeCastro clarify that now the project wasn’t going to directly bail a user out of jail. He would be initiating contacting a bail bondsman on behalf of the user, but the bail itself would not be paid from cash on hand by YouVeGotBail.AI. Instead, a personal fundraiser would be held on the user’s behalf on the YouVeGotBail.AI platform with no guarantee that the fundraiser would be successful.
By mid-week DeCastro added a caveat for First Amendment Auditors who registered for the service: they would have to bring in 25 members to the platform to receive services to the platform. They would also be paid (rates undetermined) for promoting the platform once they met their quota.
Holes began to appear in his back story. Claims have been made that no trademark or patent applications could be found in his name or names associated with DeCastro. Even if DeCastro had made the $12,000.00 to pay off the patent attorney as he claimed, patents have a process and are not granted in the timetable of 14 days, then 19 days then 24 days DeCastro had announced as his deadlines for the project.
DeCastro’s story kept evolving as more accusations were made against the YouTuber that the whole YouVeGotBail.AI platform was more or less a way to make up for his lost YouTube revenue after having his channel suspended twice this year.
His own statements also made some accuse him of preparing YouVeGotBail.AI as a personal fund to use in case he got arrested when he returned to auditing. After all, in his first statements announcing his original June 20, 2026, deadline, he stated that all of his trolls would have to watch him succeed as he returned to nationwide auditing and that he would be using his own service in case he ran into trouble with police.
On Wednesday he announced that he was printing up YGB Media branded merchandise and would soon have for sale on his websites. He made it clear the YGB logo was a Phoenix as this company would be a “phoenix rising from the ashes” to apparently prove his success.
And then he stopped.
Thursday saw the diminutive YouTuber hold a vertically formatted livestream that was seen by over 200,000 people. Despite his biggest crowd in months, DeCastro barely mentioned the project other than occasionally linking his GoFundMe in his side chat. He raised $100.00 for Thursday due to a last-minute donation to the campaign.
Despite his lack of promotion, DeCastro highlighted his previous experience as a fund raiser and boasted that he had never failed in any of his previous crowd sourcing campaigns.
Our own evidence showed that this was not true, as he failed to raise his goals with his most recent campaigns for Craig Hendry, Heather Chandler and his own Stand with Chille, Delete Lawz, Federal Trial Feb 9, 2026 campaign.
He did not go live on Friday and received no donations to the crowed sourcing campaign. With 17 days left in the campaign, DeCastro now must raise an average of $!,308.88 per day to achieve his $25,000.00 goal.
DeCastro also failed to carry through with his threat to sue the State of California over a six-month old ticket for using his cellphone while driving. He had been adamant that he would not be paying the ticket and that he would be standing up for everyone’s rights by filing a federal civil rights lawsuit “by Tuesday.” As some expected, by late Friday evening, there were no new lawsuits filed by DeCastro on a state or federal level.
As for fundraising, SeanPaul “Long Island Audit” Reyes took the day with $100.00 towards his Detained for MY Rights – Continuing the Fight for OUR Rights” campaign. Roy Tripoloni’s campaign for James “James Freeman” Springer placed second with $55.00 taken in for Saturday.
With mounting problems faced by the inventor of the Jock Sock and failed Power Ranger, we’d like to hear your thoughts on the YouVeGotBail.AI project. What would it take for you to donate to DeCastro’s GoFundMe? Do you have a need for the YouVeGotBail.AI service? Are you interested in the press pass that DeCastro guaranteed would be accepted by the police?
