An already strange situation got stranger on Friday as the first court records related to the arrest of James “James Freeman” Springer made it to the Arizona Courts eAccess portal, which finally provided a clear indication of the current charges the former YouTuber is facing as he sits in the Pima County Adult Correction facility.

Contrary to what our reporter was told by court officials on Thursday, Springer was arraigned on May 14, 2026, in Pima County Superior Court for one felony and five misdemeanor charges.

He is currently facing:

28-622.01 Unlawful flight from a law enforcement vehicle. This is a class 5 felony and carries a prison sentence between 6 months in jail and 2.5 years in jail if convicted. A class five felony cannot be reduced to misdemeanor status and will result in permanent loss of civil rights upon conviction.

The other charges are classified as misdemeanor class 1. Each carries maximum penalties of up to 6 months in jail and $2,500.00 in fines plus court costs.

Currently, Springer faces two counts of 13-2904a Disorderly Conduct. According to Arizona’s government website, it is defined as: A. A person commits disorderly conduct if, with intent to disturb the peace or quiet of a neighborhood, family or person, or with knowledge of doing so, such person: 1. Engages in fighting, violent or seriously disruptive behavior; or 2. Makes unreasonable noise; or 3. Uses abusive or offensive language or gestures to any person present in a manner likely to provoke immediate physical retaliation by such person; or 4. Makes any protracted commotion, utterance or display with the intent to prevent the transaction of the business of a lawful meeting, gathering or procession; or 5. Refuses to obey a lawful order to disperse issued to maintain public safety in dangerous proximity to a fire, a hazard or any other emergency; or 6. Recklessly handles, displays or discharges a deadly weapon or dangerous instrument.

He is also facing two counts of 13-1202A1 Threat-Intimidation with injury/damage to property. Again, Arizona lists this as: A. A person commits threatening or intimidating if the person threatens or intimidates by word or conduct: 1. To cause physical injury to another person or serious damage to the property of another;

Finally, he is facing one count of 13-1602A1, which is listed as: A. A person commits criminal damage by: 1. Recklessly defacing or damaging property of another person.

Despite many random YouTube comments celebrating his release or possible release, Springer is still listed as being on the inmate roster of the Pima County Adult Correction facility as of Saturday morning.

The GoFundMe run by Roy “Pigs Under Pressure” Tripoloni took in another $5,219.00 in donations to take the crowd sourcing title on Saturday. This was followed by Angel “Kansas City Accountability” Moses who makes an initial appearance with $1,697.00 in donations to his Justice for Unlawful Arrest in Ohio campaign.

Central Tyrant Investigations placed third with $197.00 in new donations to his Justice for Unlawful Arrest in Paduch fund.

The campaign set up by the family of Luis “Real Constitutional Upholders” Johnson brought in $100.00 to place fourth for the day. Fifth place went to the First Amendment Protection Agency, who brought in $15.00 in new donations to his ILLEGAL ARREST DEFENSE FUND!!!

Finally, Jonathan “Frauditor Troll” Hudon-Huneault’s Help us Fight this anti-free speech retaliation lawsuit lost another $7.00 in value due to conversion rate changes.

For those following Springer’s possible release, GoFundMe tends not to give payouts on the weekends. If the money is not currently in Tripoloni’s account, any deposit will more than likely be delayed until Monday.

According to Springer’s eAccess listing, his next hearing is set for May 21, 2026, in Pima County Superior court.
