Denver area YouTuber Regan Benson posted a $3,000.00 all cash bond Saturday morning after being remanded into custody on Friday following her sentencing for doxing a police officer and promptly returned to insulting the judge and the process on her YouTube community page.
Benson was chastised by Judge Isaam Shamsid-Deen for not taking the law or the process seriously on Friday. During the trial and immediately after the reading of the verdict in the case, Benson has heavily criticized the judge, the jury and the law in an apparent attempt to deflect her own actions that led to her conviction.
Trial attorney Jamie Hubbard, who represented Benson during the trial but will not be representing her during the appeal, noted in her speech to the court before Benson’s sentencing that Benson does not believe that the law that convicted her is constitutional.
According to Hubbard, Benson cannot show remorse or take responsibility for a law that she doesn’t believe in. Which brought questions from critics of Benson as to why she allows herself special treatment and what other laws she would choose to ignore due to the fact that she simply doesn’t believe in them.
Benson’s brief time in county jail seemed to be a surprise to her and Hubbard on Friday, as Benson had already done a CBS news interview on her possible sentencing, and was dressed in a light up cowboy hat and was accompanied by a small group of supporters.
She has yet to address her jail time in a video, however, let her feelings about Judge Shamsid-Deen be known in a community post Saturday afternoon:

In her statement Benson ignored the plight of friend Luis “Real Constitutional Upholder” Johnson, who remains hospitalized under the watch of police in a Denver hospital.
Johnson was shot multiple times in the back last weekend after being confronted by police following a separate shooting in downtown Denver. He was shot when Johnson, the most prominent second amendment rights activist in the Denver area, allegedly refused to drop his weapon when encountering police after the shooting.
His family set up a GoFundMe page that has seen little to no support since going live. It again received no new donations on Sunday.
