Irish Demon Demonetized (Again)

YouTuber Irish Demon went live Saturday night in a BSBT and technical issued plagued broadcast that saw him announce that he was partially demonetized by YouTube after on-going issues with privacy strikes placed on his channel by Welsh News Network owner Daniel Jones.

Jones reportedly started placing privacy strikes on Demon’s channel last month after Demon’s exposé on Jones left the Welsh News Network in tatters in May. Jones was apparently still angered about the exposé, as Demon went to Wales to expose Jones’ many untruths about his background, social status and relationships.

When Demon recently returned to Wales, he said word of his activities may have got back to Jones and the problems with the YouTube channel began again, with multiple privacy complaints per day lodged against his channel.

Demon speculated that Jones was preparing to back his claims with a lawsuit against him and pledged that he would make a circus out of any lawsuit.

The issues with monetization seem to impact channel revenue and super chats. Demon’s viewers were able to purchase individual channel memberships, gift memberships and send membership messages during his broadcasts. It is unclear if Demon will receive any of the funding from those memberships if he’s been fully demonetized.

His speculation was that Daniel Jones went after his AdSense account and would be following up with Google/YouTube. Demon said this was the fourth or fifth time his channel had been demonetized and he’d work through the problems with YouTube to restore monetization.

Also at issue was the presence of YouTuber Broken System Broken Trust. BSBT apparently has been leaving messages on Demon’s public phone messaging in a mix of hate and admiration. Demon invited BSBT to join him on his Sunday night live stream to get to the bottom of BSBT’s issues.

The YouTuber said he would be going live more often in the future as he shared his PayPal with his fans and encouraged them to contribute to help him make up for the possible lost revenue from the YouTube channel.

Demon also claimed that he would be working on expanding his outside income with new projects, including his own ice cream line.

Disclosure: ReallyCoolNews is an independent act of blogsmanship and claims no ties to any individual or organizations within the community. ReallyCoolNews worked in conjunction with the Welsh News Network until May of this year. Owner/Reporter Jim Finch appeared nightly on WNN as part of the daily broadcasts. Finch also has appeared on Irish Demon’s channel post-leaving WNN.
