The King of First Amendment auditing, SeanPaul “Long Island Audit” Reyes, addressed his fans from outside of a Connecticut courthouse Wednesday afternoon and announced that he had fired his attorney who was handling his case and would instead represent himself to be able to access discovery that he had otherwise been denied access to.
Reyes made his announcement after the latest hearing for charges he is still facing from an incident on the property of former Connecticut State Trooper Bryan Fahey.
The YouTuber was originally facing charges of felony voyeurism, breach of peace and trespassing. Over the past year, the voyeurism and breach of peace charges have been dropped.
Reyes announced that all charges against his cameraman, who accompanied him to Fahey’s property last year, would be dismissed at the next hearing.
He also announced that he had fired his current attorney as Connecticut’s current rules on discovery places limits on what an attorney can share with his client. Reyes apparently made the decision to go Pro Se as the final charge is relatively minor, calling for a maximum of 90 days in jail, and could have otherwise been dismissed previously had Reyes agreed to work with prosecutors.
Reyes announced that as the state had not listed Fahey as a witness, he would be calling Fahey as a witness along with Fahey’s wife. He bragged that national news outlets would be covering the case and that the prosecutor would have to face being on national news as he lost to a lowly YouTuber.
That YouTuber also said that once the criminal charges are taken care of, he will be suing Fahey in two federal civil lawsuits.
Reyes updated the status of an internal affairs investigation out of Groton, Connecticut. He said the town had hired an independent contractor to investigate their handling of Reyes’s confrontation with Fahey and the internal affairs report that followed it.
The YouTuber expressed his displeasure with the town of Groton, which he has previously threatened to sue, but has yet to go forward with civil action against the town.
In other news, Reyes closed multiple GoFundMe campaigns this week that were related to previous incidents and lawsuits.
Reyes’s Help Me Fight These Unlawful Charges & Injustice campaign had a goal of $65,000.00 and had brought in $56,040.00 of that goal. It was the only campaign of those that he shut down to have earnings for 2026, taking in $905.00 for the year when it was shut down.
Reyes’s Fund Legal Defense Against Unlawful Arrest had a goal of $20,000.00 and had earned $16,371.00 towards that goal when it was shut down.
His Help With Criminal Defense Attorney For This Case had a goal of $25,000.00 and brought in $21,650.00 when Reyes discontinued it.
The Unlawful Arrest & Constitutional Rights Violation campaign was one of his least successful campaigns. It brought in $2,443.00 out of a $10,000.00 goal and never quite captured public interest before its discontinuation.
His Help LIA With Legal Fees To Fight Tyrant’s Lawsuit was the smallest of the discontinued campaigns. It made $1,891.00 out of a $2,500.00 goal before discontinuation.
Reyes’s controversial Help With Billboard Truck Purchase To EXPOSE Tyranny fund sought $20,000.00 but brought in $11,671.00 before discontinuation. This one was problematic for the YouTuber as he apparently had already bought the truck during the duration of the fund and what he was seeking was nowhere close to what he ultimately paid for the vehicle.
Finally, his Support Freedom: Stand Against Tyranny Together was looking for $10,000.00 but only earned $5,599.00 before discontinuation.
This leaves Reyes with his Support The Fight Against Tyranny & Corruption campaign, which has brought in $61,201.00 above its $55,000.00 goal and his Detained for MY Right – Continuing the Fight for OUR Rights, which has brought in $17,045.00 out of an $18,000.00 goal, as his active crowd sourcing campaigns.
We will continue to update Reyes’s legal status as he provides updates.
