Chille DeCastro’s Last Stand Appeal After HUGE Lawsuit Defeat

Jose “Chille” DeCastro kept his promise on Friday and officially filed his notice to appeal his recent court loss in his lawsuit against the Las Vegas Metro Police Department while he wavered on other promises and declarations from the past two weeks.

DeCastro officially filed his intent to appeal on Friday, meeting the 30-day limit to start the appeal’s process. As with most notices to appeal, he didn’t indicate exactly why he was appealing, through the “what” can be taken from his document as “from the Judgment entered in this case ECF 158, filed on February 19, 2026, the verdict, and all prior related rulings of the District Court, resulting in this final judgment.”

From that reading, it looks like DeCastro seems to want to relitigate all of the previous rulings of the district court that resulted in his failure to have a jury find fault in the actions of the police officers who arrested him nearly three years ago.

Previously, DeCastro had blamed his lack of success on the fact that the jury foreman was “married to a retired cop” and that there were people on the jury who either worked with or had dealings with the police.

He also seemed to be troubled by the fact that, despite having the issue explained to him by the Judge in a way that made sense, his conviction for and acquittal of the charges at the heart of the lawsuit were not allowed to be shared with the jury.

DeCastro shared his thoughts on the appeals process after the trial and seemed to indicate that he believed that it would be a retrial of sorts, without a pesky jury and before a panel of judges. He indicated that it would be fairer, but he still would attempt to take his appeals all the way to the United States Supreme Court if needed.

Fans may be questioning DeCastro’s word and his resolve since he recently reversed course on a number of issues that he had promised his fans.

The first of which is his anti-Isreal stance. Over the past two weeks, DeCastro declared that his broadcasts would focus on the evils of having “Zionist Israelis” in our government. He demanded that all American politicians of Jewish origin be removed from our current government.

His radical views alienated a large portion of his audience and, along with his announcement that he was praying for death for current United States President Donald Trump, led to at least one YouTuber user to report the “future government” of California to the authorities.

Coincidentally, he has dropped his anti Isreal stance in broadcasts this week, reverting to airing footage of police officers shooting suspects in graphic details as he smirks and laughs.

DeCastro also finally announced that he would be running for “government” of California at some time in the future. The diminutive future politician missed all deadlines to run for the Governorship of California in this election cycle but recently promised his fans that he’d be going forward with the idea of being president one day.

He had also decided that he was ditching his need for the vertical format as YouTube couldn’t tell him what to do. We had previously noted that DeCastro was bringing in thousands of viewers from the vertical format but was making no money using it.

DeCastro’s move back to the horizontal format was brave and bold and something that promised him revenue… until he had two streams in a row with concurrent viewership of under 100 people.

During the second stream he declared that YouTube was “forcing” him to stream in the vertical format and abruptly ended his horizontal stream, started a vertical stream and was blessed with 400 observed concurrent viewers, apparently putting all things right again in his world.

Finally, the one thing that defined Chille DeCastro to hundreds of YouTube users – his indestructible trifold – has changed.

The former failed manufacturer of “The Jock Sock” announced that the paper version of the trifold was apparently at end of life as a product since it was now out of stock. He said he was replacing it with a newly branded “trifold” that was made from acrylic and couldn’t fold.

He also announced that he was significantly raising the price of the product, with multiple missed deadlines, and would be honoring all outstanding orders of the old trifold with copies of the new trifold with no further expense to his audience.

The YouTuber said he was thinking of reintroducing the “broccoli wad rubber band” that used to accompany each order but did not indicate if he had solved the shipping issues that required him to remove the item from inclusion.

DeCastro offered no updates on his “You’ve Got Bail” product, other than it was on course to launch “soon.” He also teased the return of his “Constitution Headquarters” board game, with no direct timetable for its production.

YouTuber DeCastro is expected to go live later this weekend.
