Colorado based YouTuber, sometime grandmother and free range activist for the homeless Regan Benson had a long week as she disrupted the end of a public business owner’s meeting in Englewood, Colorado, bad mouthed police in Denver, apparently dismissal her lawsuit against YouTuber BlackHartKnight and saw new developments in her lawsuit against Englewood.

Benson’s Helping Hands for Dignity Coalition was suing Gurka for Misrepresentation and Declaration of Copyright Infringement. The case was originally filed in California but later transferred to Florida. “Superstar” Steve Vondran represented Gurka, while That Randall S. “The Unhinged Attorney” Newman represented Benson.

The stipulation of dismissal was released on Tuesday:

“Pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 41(a)(1)(A)(ii), this action shall be and hereby is DISMISSED WITH PREJUDICE in its entirety.

Each party shall bear its own attorneys’ fees and costs, except as otherwise expressly provided in the Settlement Agreement executed by the Parties.

The Court shall retain jurisdiction to enforce the terms of the Settlement Agreement between the Parties.

This Stipulation may be executed in counterparts and by electronic signature, each of which shall be deemed an original.”

Magistrate Judge Michael J. Frank officially dismissed the lawsuit on Wednesday, with no further details of the settlement released to the public.

Thursday also saw action in Benson’s on-going litigation against the city of Englewood Colorado.

United States District Judge Regina M. Rodriguez accepted the Recommendation of United States Magistrate Judge Kathryn A. Starnella to uphold parts of and dismiss parts of the Englewood Defendants’ Motion to Dismiss Benson’s First Amended Complaint.

Judge Rodriguez essentially allowed all of the suggested findings by Judge Starnella since neither side objected to the findings.

Benson has stated that she was pleased with the preliminary findings of Judge Starnella as the lawsuit survived the initial motion to dismiss.

The YouTuber was less pleased with the city of Englewood on Tuesday when she attended a planning meeting set for business owners and property managers held at the Englewood Police Department.

Benson said that she thought the meeting was open to the public as her guise to attend the meeting and remained largely silent as the meeting progressed. Towards the end of the meeting, when the subject of homelessness and property damage came up, Benson angerly stood and confronted the business owners and Fire Inspector Greg Taets.

She ignored push back from business owners in the room, with one directly asking her what her plan was to deal with the homeless and another stating that Benson could house the homeless at her own lavish property in the Denver area.

Benson would later reveal that she went to the meeting to confront the business owners over the treatment of a homeless woman who had been trespassed from a brewery’s property in Englewood earlier that week.

She noted to police who may be watching her live stream that she voluntarily left the meeting as it was concluding and had not been asked to leave by organizers. She would later conclude that Englewood police would issue a warrant for her arrest on charges related to the incident.

Benson would go on to attend Denver District 3’s monthly Community Advisory Board meeting on Wednesday, apparently warrant free. She said she was there to interact with the District Attorney who is prosecuting her for a situation in September of last year where she broadcast the home address of Denver District 3 police Commander Joel Bell and told her fans to have a “piggie roast” at his house.

Following the meeting, as she debriefed her side chat from her car, she said that she obviously was joking about the “piggie roast” and never intended to cause harm to the Commander.

She predicted that her motion to dismiss in the on-going trial would be denied and that she would be convicted at trial at the end of this month. She said she planned to immediately announce the appeal the sentence to avoid being taken into custody.

This is an on-going news story.
