Accusations of gratuitous crowd sourcing for unneeded donations resurfaced on Sunday against SeanPaul “Long Island Audits” Reyes as he revealed “secretly recorded audio” of his recent encounter with border patrol officers in Texas that resulted in roughly $5,000.00 in new donations to his GoFundMe campaign.
Reyes’s audio, despite the “secret” source, was primarily a recycling of audio heard from videos that had previously been released by the King of all auditing. Despite being what Reyes would eventually describe as a “Fifth Amendment audit” it showed that Reyes never invoked his fifth amendment rights nor did he stay silent in the presence of officers.
In those minutes of audio, Reyes was largely confrontational with agents, telling them essentially that he was famous and that he knew the law as most of his best friends were lawyers. He boasted that they’d soon face repercussions for their actions if they didn’t free him immediately.
The dramatic packaging of the audio was accompanied by a pitch for Reyes’s Detained for MY Rights – Continuing the Fight for OUR Rights fund. The YouTuber is facing no criminal charges at this time from the incident.
In exchange for their donations, Reyes would only commit to a vague pledge to take every legal means necessary to hold the agents accountable for his alleged mistreatment.
Critics immediately pounced on Reyes, who seemed more concerned about generating outrage to pull in new donations and merchandise sales than he was in actually performing his acts of retribution from the government.
Those same critics remembered Reyes’s actions from the summer of 2025, when he ignored private road signs to confront a now former Connecticut State Trooper at his home. This action resulted a verbal confrontation with the man and an arrest of Reyes even though the former officer spat in his face.
Reyes turned that incident into over $55,000.00 in donations from his fans towards a legal defense GoFundMe. The charges against Reyes were later reduced to misdemeanor offenses with the YouTuber facing little to no legal consequences for his actions, nor a need for his enormous intake of funding.
Critics also remember an ill-timed family vacation that happened in the middle of the controversy surrounding the incident. The two week “work” vacation saw the YouTuber continue to pull in record donations, despite taking a break from his efforts to spend time with his family.
Reyes’s dramatic audio and pitch to his audience turned around a relatively unspectacular weekend for his campaigns.
None of his campaigns pulled in donations for Saturday, January 24, 2026. That day was dominated by the YouTuber known as the First Amendment Protection Agency with $220.00 in new donations to his ILLEGAL ARREST DEFENSE FUND!!! Campaign. Second place went to Frauditor Troll’s Help us Fight this anti-free speech retaliation lawsuit campaign, which took in $68.00 for the day.
Reyes’s rebound started on Sunday, January 25, 2026, as his Detained for MY Rights – Continuing the Fight for OUR Rights fund pulled in $50.00. Frauditor Troll’s campaign placed second with $17.00 in new donations, which was followed by the First Amendment Protection Agency’s campaign, which pulled in $10.00.
Finally, after Reyes’s “surprise” audio, his Detained for MY Rights campaign pulled in $4,940.00 for Monday’s take, followed by the First Amendment Protection Agency, which pulled in $135.00 and Frauditor Troll’s campaign, which brought home $69.00.
Reyes also ended his video with a pitch for his lucrative merchandise line.
The YouTuber’s financial windfall, after he never invoked his fifth amendment right, never followed through on keeping silent, was never charged with anything, and would later threaten to protest at the homes of agents while taking “every legal avenue possible” to punish the agents, is more proof that the YouTuber is considered “Teflon” within the community.
His estimated YouTube earnings of $50,000.00 to $100,000.00 per month indicate that he’s not in need of the money he’s requesting, it’s icing on a lucrative cake that will replenish itself as long as his fans are willing to part with their money.
This is a breaking news story.
