Internet darling Jose “Chille” DeCastro spent another Sunday night in his element – attempting to line up bond for a First Amendment auditor in Springfield, Missouri, who was accused of a multitude of charges after allegedly crossing police crime scene tape.

DeCastro’s broadcast started with the YouTuber seeking footage of an arrest he had heard about from fellow auditor BZWatchDog and others. After acquiring the footage, and still not knowing the man’s name, DeCastro sprang into action, calling the jail where the man was held and attempting to get the man’s status.

With his chat helping, DeCastro found the man’s name to be Jeffery Blades and he was told by the jail that bond had not yet been set. The man was being charged with resisting arrest, giving false information to a police officer and trespassing.

Once he was told by the jail that Blades would probably be held for 24 hours, DeCastro turned his attention to other anti-police videos while promising his undying oath to bond out Blades.

Blades would be released later that night and made no mention of DeCastro on his subsequent live stream. He said he had COPD, and the experience made him buy a pack of cigarettes for the first time in three years.

The fledgling YouTuber then announced that he was seeking legal representation and said he was planning on suing the police for $200,000.00, attorney fees and a demand for retraining of the officers.

With Blades’ case now on the backburner, DeCastro would go into details on the project, mockingly nicknamed “You’ve Got Bail” by observers, that DeCastro has spent most of the past year working on after abandoning work on this Constitutional HQ board game.

DeCastro announced that the “new technology” would be available as a beta test to 1,000 people “soon” and the full product would be launched by the first or second week of February of 2026.

The “technology” was originally built on a smaller scale in 2025 and had to be rebuilt by his coders, according to DeCastro, as the original version did not have the capacity to handle over 50,000 simultaneous users.

The 50,000 mark was key, DeCastro explained as the “technology” was a crowd sourcing service to allow someone to click a button on their phone when they were arrested and have bond posted along with a release from jail within the first hour of captivity.

DeCastro said that he needed a minimum of 50,000 subscribers paying $5.00 a month to make his product work and assure that everyone who needed bond for the month would have their bail posted within one hour of arrest.

The funding would also take care of sending a “reporter” to represent the client at the jail and alert the local news media. Presumably the “reporter” would also obtain the services of a local bail bondsman.

Portions of the funding would also go into an individual account for the arrested individual and would then be used, if necessary, to obtain both a defense lawyer and a civil lawyer to sue the police after the person was released from custody.

Skeptics immediately questioned DeCastro’s minimums, with the $250,000.00 minimum financing a month appearing much too low to finance multiple bonds, attorney fees, and employees to run the fledgling operation.

There’s also criticism stemming from DeCastro’s past projects, with DeCastro announcing on the livestream Sunday night that one of the factors that led him to abandon his Constitution HQ board game, which was “completed” and ready for the market, was cost.

After over a year of his life devoted to the product, he simply did not have the $100,000.00 he needed to print the game, let alone to take care of the associated costs to produce and distribute the game.

There’s also history of dubious decisions with previous funds that DeCastro had devoted to “anyone who needed help” but ended up using the money himself. As a prolific first amendment auditor, DeCastro finds himself at odds with the law from time to time.

In the spring of 2024, DeCastro had not one but two GoFundMe campaigns that he had designated to bail others out of jail. When he was convicted of charges against him, both of the crowd sourcing campaigns were raided for DeCastro’s own defense, and he broke promises he made to pay for the criminal defenses of YouTubers Wanda Mise and Press with Rancor.

Going forward, DeCastro must convince the public that he won’t simply raid the coffers of his project for his own defense when he gets into trouble with the police. While presumed settlements or victories in court would off set some of his personal expenses, none of DeCastro’s current lawsuits are anywhere near the settlement phase.

DeCastro’s ability to draw in paying customers is also in question. According to DeCastro, he only had a handful of pre-orders for his Constitution HQ board game after nearly a year of pre-sales.

Last year, his multiple attempts to launch new channels on YouTube, Patreon, Twitter and even his own personal server failed to bring in enough revenue to keep the projects going. By his own admission Sunday night, the only way he is currently making money is from his YouTube subscriptions and super chat donations.

Without a major source of funding to back his claims, let alone experience in running a nationwide operation where consumer’s freedom on the line, it is unlikely that DeCastro’s product can succeed in market that he is essentially creating.

DeCastro’s crowd sourcing efforts were again blank for Tuesday, with Jonathan “Frauditor Troll” Huneault’s Help us Fight this anti-free speech retaliation lawsuit taking the crowd sourcing title with $3 in earnings due to a change in the CAD to USD conversion rate.

This is a developing news story.
