SeanPaul “Long Island Audit’ Reyes’ ongoing saga involving the now former Connecticut State Trooper Brian Fahey went to new heights on Friday as Reyes confronted Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont at the state capitol and was turned away from an FBI Field office.
Reyes started the weekend’s video releases with a new video on Friday in which he teased his release on Sunday, indicating that he would be releasing his epic confrontation with Governor Lamont at that time.
Those watching Friday’s video had to settle for Reyes standing outside the FBI field headquarters in New Haven, Connecticut. Reyes said he was at the field headquarters to present all of his documents and his information on his allegations that officer Fahey was involved in an illegal overtime scheme.
Reyes attempted to back his allegations by stating that four other Connecticut State Troopers resigned with Fahey on Thursday and were all allegedly involved in the scheme involving massive amounts of overtime.
The YouTuber did not identify any of the officers involved in the alleged scheme but assured his fans that the FBI would know about their actions once he was able to meet with someone from inside the building.
Unfortunately for Reyes, he said that when he arrived at the field office at 3:30PM on Friday, the guards at the gate refused to let him in as the office had already closed for the day. Reyes pledged to return on Monday to present his evidence to FBI field agents.
The YouTuber ended that video by pledging that he would be writing a book called “Corrupticut,” which would detail his struggles with police and the Connecticut state government in his investigation of Fahey.
Reyes’ Sunday release of his video featuring his multiple confrontations with Connecticut Governor Ned Lamont did not disappoint his battle-ready fans.
The video started with Reyes interrupting a question-and-answer segment Governor Lamont was holding after a speech on a different subject. He introduced himself and asked the governor if he would be responding to his inquiries about the growing scandal involving Fahey and Fahey’s involvement in both the incident on Fahey’s property that Reyes is facing charges for and Fahey’s alleged involvement in the overtime scandal.
Reyes was directed to talk to the Governor’s chief of staff in order to schedule a meeting. Ignoring this, Reyes said that thousands of his fans have already written the governor about Trooper Fahey and wanted to know why Governor Lamont remained silent on the issue.
The YouTuber followed Lamont from his public speech to another closed-door meeting, back to Lamont’s office, screaming the same questions at the governor in each encounter. At one point, Governor Lamont told Reyes to stop “playing games” and sitting around with his camera, then stopped engaging with Reyes.
Reyes planned return to the FBI field office on Monday apparently did not happen as he did not mention it on his channel or feature it in Monday’s video releases. Lamont’s office has not made a public statement on the matter.
With Fahey’s surprise retirement apparently achieving Reyes’ goal of having the officer quit or be fired from his job, interest in Reyes’ cause seems to be waning. After a mixed extended weekend, Reyes’ Stand with me to Hold Bryan Fahey Accountable GoFundMe reached a new low on Monday.
The campaign, started immediately after the incident at Fahey’s home where Fahey spat at Reyes in July, stands at a total of $48,814.00 on Tuesday morning. It took in under $100.00 for the second time in recent memory, taking in just $45.00 for Tuesday’s results based on underwhelming response to Reyes’ weekend video releases.
It is unclear if his fundraising efforts will continue to decline as making the $55,000.00 fundraising goal is in question as of press time.
