YouTube superstar SeanPaul “Long Island Audit” Reyes’ raged in his Thursday evening livestream after hearing the news that long-time nemesis, Connecticut State Patrol Sgt. Brian Fahey, was set to retire from his position as of August 1, 2025.
Reyes filmed himself having what some are calling a pre-planned confrontation with Fahey in July where Reyes brought a cameraman and his electronic billboard truck to Fahey’s neighborhood before ignoring “private road” signs and making a long walk to Fahey’s house.
The YouTuber already had an existing civil lawsuit against Fahey for a previous confrontation at the time of the incident and had been hounding Fahey with videos on his main YouTube channel leading up to the confrontation.
Reyes’ decision to confront Fahey in person about a situation involving an alleged illegal overtime scheme was also heavily criticized as Reyes allegedly violated long time journalistic guidelines by directly harassing Fahey as part of his reporting through the use of videos on his billboard truck, and due to the fact that Reyes has a personal interest in his reporting as he was already suing Fahey.
Others questioned the need for a face-to-face confrontation with Fahey, which resulted in Fahey, who was off duty at the time of the incident, brandish a weapon and appearing to have spat in Reyes’ face during a confrontation between the men.
Reyes and his cameraman were ultimately charged with breach of peace, voyeurism with malice, and criminal trespass for the confrontation at Fahey’s home; they are currently fighting the charges.
The GoFundMe devoted to Reyes’ criminal defense in the case saw more gains for Friday’s tallies as it now sits at $48,334 for the year, picking up another $172 for the first day of the month. No other campaigns saw new donations for Friday.
