Tuesday saw another livestream held by Christopher “Denver Metro Audits” Cordova and that Randall S. “The Unhinged Attorney” Newman, Esq., as they brought news about their efforts to track down a man simply known as “The Exposer,” who runs the 1A Audits Exposé YouTube channel.

The Exposer recently appeared on a Friday livestream with Frauditor Mania, where he said that the imposing team of Cordova and Newman would never know his name as his YouTube channel was registered to a company and not his real name.

Cordova and Newman appeared closer to discovering if that was true on Monday, when they were granted the ability to file a subpoena for that information from YouTube by a court in the Northern District of California.

It was one of two subpoena requests granted on Monday, with the other going towards the pair’s efforts to unmask the information about Doctor Dave’s Dr. Dave Debunker of Frauditors! Channel.

The Exposer made efforts to sue him a bit easier early in the week as he officially filed a DMCA counter notice to fight the 17 DMCA takedown notices that YouTube granted against his channel.

Using what the pair described as a Montreal, Quebec, Canada, based attorney, The Exposer filed a blanket response to the DMCA takedown with his lawyer indicating that she would accept service any lawsuit that came from the counter claim.

Cordova and Newman seemed pleased as this was the first time someone filed a counter claim since Cordova’s campaign to hold those who use his material accountable began earlier this month.

To clarify previous coverage, while YouTube has been restoring videos like Counter DMCA notices have been filed in the cases involving Cordova, no such counter claims have been filed by those he has targeted except for the new counter claim by The Exposer.

Going into details about 16 of the 17 videos that received strikes, Cordova described them as YouTube shorts that essentially were comprised of 90% of material from Cordova’s material, followed by a short reactionary clip from a popular TV series.

According to Cordova’s account, at no time did The Exposer include any transformative material, just a clip from shows like ‘The Office’ as a reaction to the clip that was playing in the video.

On Friday’s livestream, The Exposer seemed confident that he would win the DMCA appeals of his short form videos as they were directly taken from the long-form videos that he claimed that YouTube had restored.

According to his statements on Friday, there was no distinction between a long form video and a short form video, as the short form video was taken from the original material. This idea will be tested as Cordova and Newman have indicated that they will be moving forward with a lawsuit against the YouTuber.

By signing the DMCA counter, The Exposer’s attorney agrees to have the case heard in California’s Northern District Court. It is unclear if the attorney is licensed to practice law in the United States, let alone California.

As a response to the DMCA counter claim, Cordova made a direct request to his fans to help him raise the $405.00 needed to file the new lawsuit against The Exposer. He said that he was currently in a financial bind until his condominium was sold and offered to pay his supports back for their donations once he closed on the sale.

Cordova directed his fans to his CashApp, PayPal and GoFundMe accounts to contribute to the cause, with Newman later setting up a new GoFundMe account to handle the specific fundraising efforts.

In the 12 hours after the broadcast, Cordova’s Defend DMA in the fight against corruption & oath breakers fund saw no new donations, sitting at $905.00. The newly created Help Us Sue The Exposer for DMCA Violations fund, seeking $405.00, also received no donations for the day.

The day itself was dominated by SeanPaul “Long Island Audit” Reyes, who brought in $9,297.00 for his Stay with me to Hold Bryan Fahey Accountable campaign and $60.00 towards his Support the Fight Against Tyranny and Corruption campaign.

No other campaigns received donations for Tuesday.

JF It is unclear if the attorney is licensed to practice law in the United States, let alone California.

The Canadian lawyer may or may not be licensed to practice in the US or in Cali. But then she does not need to do so. As if often the case, lawyers have to practice in other jurisdictions as a normal part of their practice. As such, you can be granted eligibility to do so by the court/bar by offering certain evidence. Oh and it varies state to state. country to country! 1) You have to be a lawyer, however that is in local rules, like some place you have to go to law school, others like cali, you have to work for a lawyer for so many years. 2) you have to be in good standing with your local bar association. If you are disbarred at home, does not mean you can change states and practise.3) Some places require a local lawyer to shadow council you. 4) Like ALL things legal you need to fill in a tonne of paper work. And it is different in every state so watch out.

Oh and just for ship and giggles… A Montreal attorney has to be able to practice in either the civil code or common law tradition. The USA has common law but French Montreal and or Quebec wide has the civil code. So depending on the lawyer, they may not have even graduated with the right type of law degree.

And cause i am here. The montreal lawyer is not agreeing to take the case to court in Cali or anywhere else. All they have done is agree to service. ie send it to them. Not that they will fly over and met you in the halls of justice. So far, all they have to do is agree to accept service. There is no lolsuit yet.

As we slide right into my next point.

JF Cordova made a direct request to his fans to help him raise the $405.00 needed to file the new lawsuit

And let the grift begin. Not that any sent any money but he will pay you back.

DMA is the sort of guy who will borrow 20$ from and promise to pay you back on payday. When is payday you ask?
How should he know, you are the one with a job.

See, most people, well most normal people, when they launch a lawsuit, have to give their lawyer a deposit. 5K 10K heck 100K in the larger lawsuits.
The fact that DMA needs 400$ to file this LOLsuit shows just how shaddy this grift is.

    LOL

Okay, i just had a thought. So DMA and lolyer get to discovery and ask for the name and address of X the guy in the video they claim copyright over. Boom, they have to have it and then can expose it to the world. Mahahahehhahahahah
    Their evil knows no bounds.
    What geniuses they are.

Gosh, even I, a usenet troll, with no law degree can defeat their clever plan… LOL

So they ask in discover the name and address of the talking head in the video.
    the Montreal lawyer says?
Oh the spokeperson? He does not matter he is an employee of the company.
    Next question.
They then have to go before a judge, yes a real judge to have the judge order the other side to name names.
To do that, they have to show this information is something relevant and needed by the court…

Okay, so say they can do so… they cannot but follow along…

The montreal lawyer, files the name under seal. Asking the court to protect the name etc from publication as the person has no involvement in the dispute. He is not the company and they are suing the company.

So when DMA lets the name slip even a tiny bit, they drag his assets back to court for sanctions. Ask chilli how those feel like? And if he, DMA, cannot get the 400$ to file the suit, how will he pay 5000$ in sanctions? They could take that money for his sale of the condo…

So this lolsuit, might end up cost a lot more money for very little gain on DMA part.

Sorry but not sorry for the second post.

Okay so you go to a lawyer. You give them money called a deposit. They in turn do all the legal things. You know file court papers, start lawsuits. That sort of thing. For 2 reasons, they make money and they charge you for it. So they pay the court filing fee and then recoup the cost plus their time from the client.
That is how things normally go. Ask Merb if you don’t believe me….

So why is DMA raising money to file court documents? Should he not have his … I don’t know, his lawyer do that? As in what every other lawsuit would do?

Yet again. More evidence this is a scam,
