Regan Benson Pledges More Lawsuits Against Englewood

Activist for the homeless and YouTube sensation Regan Benson returned to Englewood, Colorado, on Monday to complain about the city’s abandoned vehicle enforcement depart, whom she said called the police on her.

Benson was sitting in a car that was not equipped with her mount for a mobile phone and was holding onto the phone as she addressed the camera. She would later put the phone face down on the front passenger seat as she drove, as she said she would never disobey Colorado’s traffic laws in the course of her duties.

The YouTuber was outraged that members of Englewood’s abandoned vehicle department were removing vehicles from a residential neighborhood. When she arrived on scene, two employees were processing a rusted-out truck and a sedan for removal.

Benson confronted an Englewood police officer who was sitting in his car about his presence at the scene. The officer said he had a request for his presence as part of a routine safety call. He was at the scene as part of the call and was simply filling out paperwork while he waited for a new assignment.

When the officer did not follow Benson’s orders to leave the area, stating that she had the authority to do so as a citizen of Colorado, she began to berate the officer for wasting time at the scene as his investigation had concluded. She then, bizarrely, went to both abandoned vehicle enforcement vehicles and screamed at the drives that the police officer had insulted them with various insults.

After receiving no reaction from either man, she then targeted the tow truck driver from Dick’s Towing, who arrived on the scene and was in the process of removing the abandoned cars. After being ignored, she shouted that she would have offered to move her car out of the way of his truck if he was “nice and professional.” The man seemed unphased Benson’s antics and continued with his duties.

Benson returned to her vehicle and said that besides her own lawsuit against the city of Englewood, there would be multiple lawsuits filed on behalf of others, including one from Luis “Real Constitutional Upholders” Johnson. She noted that Johnson was on trial in Englewood later this week and she would be providing coverage from the hearing.

She praised Johnson as someone with conviction, unlike other “keyboard warriors” who promised action but were too cowardly to join her on the streets to take on forces she described as “tyrannical.”

Unsuccessfully attempting to follow the abandoned vehicle workers as they left the area, Benson was unable to find either car as the workers after turning onto a busy street. She instead followed the police cruiser to a police service area where the officer apparently stopped to refuel before returning to the scene of the car removals.

Benson loudly complained that judicial immunity protected judges and prosecutors in Colorado, or else she would be aiming lawsuits at the judges in Englewood who were fueling a conspiracy to target herself and members of the homeless community.

She pledged change through her pending lawsuit and indicated that she may return with coverage of Johnson’s trail before ending the livestream.
