The crowdsourcing market seemed healthy for a second straight month as we take a look at the mid-month take that has been dominated by newcomer Clash with Bao’s stunning performance to fund the YouTuber’s legal defense fund.

YouTuber Bao was arrested in the exclusion zone surrounding the courthouse where the Karen Read trial was being held in Massachusetts last month. While the area is designed to eliminate protests, Bao’s refusal to follow police instructions saw him arrested and held for a mental competency evaluation.

Since then Bao’s campaign for his legal defense fund has dominated the crowd-sourcing market, destroying all that have come before it with a take not seen in recent years since Jose “Chille” DeCastro dominated the market in early 2024.

Bao’s Help Bao Secure Legal Representation took first place for the month with a $5,771.00 towards its goal of $6,500.00. No one has come close to Bao’s overall take over the past few weeks, with contenders only recently edging out Bao to take the daily fundraising title.

Our own On-Going Expenses fund is in second place for the mid-month with a $1,480.00 take out of a $20,000.00 goal in the first two weeks of the month.

Another newcomer has placed third for the month, with Shizz’s Help Shannon Mary Attend Kiser’s Sentencing fund taking in $350.00 out of a $1,000.00 goal.

Fourth place and falling fast comes Lane Myers’ GiveSendGo account, which has taken in $72.00 towards a $30,000.00 goal.

Finally, Craig Hendry’s To Support Craig’s Work fund has taken in $20.00 out of a $4,000.00 goal to round out the campaigns that have taken in donations at the midmonth.

In overall take for the year, Bao again dominates. His campaign has taken a staggering $6,386.00 in the last month to earn first place for the year.

Our own Ongoing Expenses campaign placed second, taking in $4,095.00 for the year and $10,240.00 in overall funding.

Lane Myers’ GiveSendGo campaign placed third for the year so far with a $4,087.00 take out of an overall total of $6,736.00.

SeanPaul “Long Island Audit” Reyes’ is in fourth place with a $2,020.00 take for the year, out of an overall total of $54,303.00 since his campaign began.

Craig Hendry’s to Support Craig’s work campaign, continues to fall in the yearly race, earning $1,915.00 for the year and $7,196.00 overall.

Newcomer Shizz’s Help Shannon Mary Attend Kiser’s Sentencing campaign placed sixth for the year with its $350.00 total earned in the past month.

Seventh place goes to Jose “Chille” DeCastro’s Craig’s Freedom Depends on Your Help fund, which has also taken in all of it’s funding this year. It stands at a total of $265.00.

Liberty Troll’s Support the Fight for Our Constitutional Rights fund is up next with a $205.00 take for the year, out of a total of $4,130.00.

BZWatchDog continues to decline for the year, taking in $115.00 but falling to ninth place. The campaign itself has taken in a total of $215.00 out of a $2,500.00 goal.

Christopher Cordova’s Defend DMA in the fight against corruption & oath breakers fund has taken in $105.00 for the year and 10th place. It has taken in $905.00 since its inception.

Michael “Blue Bacon” Pierattini’s Cover Defense Costs Against a Frivolous Lawsuit fund has taken in $100.00 for the year and $19,830.00 overall.

Kevin “The Angry Vet” Soper has taken in $45.00 for the year for his Citizens for American Rights Society (SCARS) GoFundMe campaign, which sits at a total of $1,240.00.

The unofficial Support DeleteLawZ from the tyranny he fights campaign has taken in $25.00 for the year out of an overall $396.00 take.

Finally, SeanPaul “Long Island Audit” Reyes returns with $10.00 in donations towards his Unlawful Arrest and Constitutional Rights campaign. While sitting in last place out of those campaigns that have received donations for the year, it sits at a $2,443.00 take out of a $20,000.00 goal.

We will revisit these tallies at the month’s end.
